Youth & Family
YOUTH GROUP is for students in middle through high school and includes Bible study, fellowship, retreats, recreation, service projects, and/or lock-ins. Check the church calendar for upcoming events.
CONFIRMATION is a comprehensive program for seventh and eighth graders. Students spend a year studying the Bible and a year studying the Catechism. These classes lead to the Affirmation of Baptism, following the student's last year of study. Confirmation meets on Wednesday nights, from 7:30-8:30PM, and is taught by Pastor Tracey.
UPPER ELEMENTARY students have the opportunity to attend the Advent and Lenten retreats at Lutheran Camp Chrysalis each year. These are overnight camping trips and are centered around the season of the church year.
SYNOD YOUTH EVENTS include the Junior High Gathering in November each year and the Senior High Gathering in December each year. These events are opportunities for youth from our church to gather with Lutherans from all over Southwestern Texas. The Gatherings include Bible study, fellowship, worship, small groups, and congregational time.
