Carla Lockett's Bio

 Carla Lockett has been the choir director at Mac Arthur Park Lutheran church for more than 10 years, directing both the Sr. Choir and Bell choir.  She has been a member of MPLS for more than 42 years.  She was baptized, confirmed and married at MPLS. Carla is married and has two children, Bethany and Andrew, and has a vocal education degree from Texas State University.  Currently, along with directing the choirs, Carla is the music teacher and assistant director of MacArthur Park Lutheran School.  She has a true love for church music and enjoys assisting and providing music for Mac Park’s worship services.  Her philosophy of music is that God has called us all to praise Him.  If he has placed it in your heart to serve Him through music she will help you find the place and way to do it.
